You might remember reading, on my last blog, about the observational pencil drawing I had been doing through the summer, and how pleased I was with the final result. I hope you have spotted it in the Audacious Art Studio Shop! The subject was a cheetah my daughter had photographed whilst in South Africa back in 2016. Since putting it on my website I have had orders for prints, and have sold cards of the same design at local art and craft fairs. One order was from a lady who wanted an A3 print for her daughter for (dare I say...) Christmas – thank you Lynda! Having enjoyed drawing the cheetah so much, I hope to do a few more African animal drawings to create a mini collection. Good job my daughter is out in Tanzania at the moment to take more photos of them in the wild!
As I have now mentioned the festive C word, I will be adding some old favourites and new Christmas cards imminently to my website shop, all are my original designs. In addition, Audacious Art will be in Much Wenlock, Shropshire, on Saturday 10th December, with a pop up shop. So if you are Christmas shopping for unique original pieces of art, or prints from them then come along. See "Events" on the main menu for further details.
Falling back to the present , Autumn is my absolute favourite season! The beautiful array of colours that can be seen with leaves turning never fails to astonish me. I have since begun an Autumn batik piece that i am really enjoying doing at the moment incorporating all those Autumnal colours.
Lot's to get on with, so I will catch up again with you really soon.
