What a month!

Back home  /  Blog  /  What a month!

Well, what a month it has been since I last caught up with you – there have certainly been a few ups and downs! Let's start on a positive note.........I have sold two original pieces of artwork this month and a number of my A5 multi-purpose blank greetings cards. My first online sale was "Autumn" (pictured) and I am very chuffed to find out that it was bought by a gentleman for his wife as an anniversary present. I have to say that I was chuffed with that!

The last of my four original sweet pea batik designs was purchased, I am very proud to say, by highly acclaimed local sculptor Jacob Chandler. I felt very honoured that someone as talented as Jacob liked my work! "One Giant Leap for Mankind", a sculpture of a bladed athlete by Jacob, has been unveiled outside Birmingham New Street station as part of the build up to the Commonwealth Games this summer.

Audacious Art was also proud to be part of an Arts and Crafts fair recently, where a number of my cards with designs taken from my original artwork proved to be very popular.

Unfortunately, I fell victim to Coronavirus since my last blog. I was really not very well and no artwork was completed as I felt too poorly. It has been taking a while to get myself back to normal. Good job the summer holidays are on their way so I can continue with existing projects and work on some new ideas!

Catch up soon,

Audrey
